Gear

Here's a photo of my new U.S. pedal board. Thanks to Paul Lenders and Ad Vandongen at Guitarsystems. The Vibe tool sounds exactly like my real Univibe. That is a major accomplishment! Believe me, I have tried all of the other pedals out there and this one NAILS the sound! It also has a cool advantage over my real Univibe; an added TMF control to roll out some of the low end that sometimes gets in the way of a clear tone and also, my new Tony's Bender Tool. This is how I get the cool feedback and sustain on my latest c.d. and at the live gigs. Makes my tiny Fender amp scream like Jimi's Marshall amp!!! I could not get those sounds without that pedal! I LOVE it!!!!
2 Marshall heads, the one on top is a 1973, my favorite. The one on bottom is a '76, the first Marshall I ever got. 4 Fender Super Reverb amps. The one on top left is a '68, the others are all '66's. 2 Fender Deluxe amps. Both are from the '60's. I used to use these with Toto but 'someone' thought they were too loud! Stomp boxes. An old Univox Univibe, some Dallas Arbiter Fuzz Faces, lots of Ibanez Sonic Distortions, some old Thomas Organ Cry Baby pedals and 2 Roger Mayer Octavias.
2 Gibson hollow bodies. The red one is a '66 Gibson 355 and the black one is a '76 Gibson 335, my first 'good' guitar. 2 Gibson Les Pauls. The one on the left is a sunburst Gibson Historic Les Paul, the one on the right is a Gibson Authentic made in early 2000. Both of these are re-issues from the Gibson Custom Shop. My sunburst Stratocaster with a '66 body and a '61 neck. My '62 Strat.
My '64 Strat. My favorite guitar of all time!!!! Vern. He is a '60 Strat with a custom finish that is called Fiesta Red. My '56 Strat that I got for Christmas. My Fender reissue No-caster.
My '56 custom shop Strat. (See through Blonde) I use Ernie Ball Picks and Strings. Thanks Ernie Ball!!!!! More E. Ball pics!
